but how do i get it shinier? How can i make my hair shinier? i used loreal vive pro conditioner and shampoo?
its good if you only wash your hair everyother day. if you use conditioner then do that everyday. taht is fine. just dont use shampoo everyday. that is what i do. or you could ask your hair stylist. They should know. How can i make my hair shinier? i used loreal vive pro conditioner and shampoo?
I was told by an old islander woman to use coconut milk straight from the coconut, you know what it really works it even makes your hair very very soft.
listen to boilersnips advice, ive been a hair stylist for 3 years, and the store bought products are a no no!! do not get pantene, no loreal, none of that. professional products are where its at. you will see the difference! also, using a shine spray (this one doesnt make your hair greasy) is kenra silkening mist! it smells sooo yummy, and just spray it towards your ends and run your hands through. dont get it to close to the top because eventually it will make it look greasy, but its a very very light shine mist. you can only get it in salons. also u can pair that with paul mitchell super skinny, or kenra silkening gloss on wet hair before you blowdry. also washing hair every other day helps. plus, the less you wash it, the less oil it produces from trying to counteract the drying out that you shampooing everyday is causing! you just have to train it! hope this helps!
you can get gloss products for your hair. I use john Freida brilliant brunette shine shock gloss. Also, you can get shampoo and conditioner specifically for shine. (try sunsilk therma shine which reacts with heat in a blow dryer or flat iron to give you max shine) GOOD LUCK!
ooh! I love loreals vive pro!

It's really hard to get your hair looking naturally shiny without looking greasy, it sounds like you hair is already pretty shiny from loreal but if you want to go more, Garnier has some pretty good hair shining products. plus it smells good.

well my friend used pantene ice shine and her hair was so shiney, it hurt my eyes wen i looked at it.
I've been a hairstylist for 10 years and hear this question often. The problem with the store brand shampoos is that they are cheaper than salon products because they use cheaper ingredients that coat your hair and therefore it can get built up and dull. I recommend you get a clarifying shampoo, which you can even mix a little baking soda into to get off the buildup. Then invest in a good quality salon shampoo and conditioner like Nexxus or Redken. I personally use Redken. I think that conditioner is slightly more important than shampoo, so if you have to pick only one salon product, I would suggest conditioner. I'm not familiar with Loreal, but I do like Neutrogena, Infusium, and some of Aussie's products (3 min. miracle) . Think about this... you spend money on clothes and shoes, but you wear your hair every day! :) You can also visit a salon and ask for a clear ';glossing'; or ';glaze';. I recommend visiting a Redken salon (you can check Redken.com for a location near you) and ask for Shades Clear. It is a semipermanent hair color without pigment, so it gives a lot of shine to your hair. I would also suggest rinsing your hair in cool water and try not to over-use heat appliances on your hair. Also don't forget to keep up with trims, even if it's only every other month or so. Hope that helps!
Blow drying, chemical processing, and environmental factors like sun and chlorine can leave hair damaged and dull. Using shampoos and conditioners that work to correct damage is the best way to get hair back in shiny shape long term. (RS pick: Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner. Both are available at drugstores.)

Also you can dab or spray a shine-enhancing styling product like Bumble and Bumble BB Shine . =]
Rinse with cold water.
you dont want your hair to shin then it just look greesy

Put a lamp over your hair.
Shampooing your hair every day will not harm your hair but if you shampoo less your hair will look smoother and the scalp鈥檚 natural oil will make your hair shinier.
I would recommend Bio silk Silk Therapy serum. Use just a little bit (about the size of a dime) after shampooing on damp hair or use it on dry hair. Make sure you distribute it evenly all over your hair avoiding the root area. Instant shine and smoothness!!
I use pantene its good
